Science has long taught us to rely on what we can see and touch, however, the field of quantum physics concludes that everything existing in the universe is made of energy and vibration.
The smallest component exists as pure energy, and our bodies are composed entirely of energy. These sub-subatomic particles then interact with each other in ways that eventually form atoms. These atoms form molecules, which form cells, and our cells ultimately form us and everything around us.
The resonance of the energy which we are made of determines a lot about our bodies. The good news is, much like a stringed instrument we can tune our vibration to provide resonance and frequencies that are more beneficial to our well being.
Energy Healing: For some it sounds "woo woo", but more and more people are understanding it, and more and more people are finding that it is a viable form of healing because they have experienced a change or a 'healing' for themselves. But, it's hard to explain what it is and how it works unless you have experienced it for yourself. Some people insist on having hard scientific reasoning and proof on the how's and why's change happens in our systems, but I believe there are unlimited ways and means to creating a change in our bodies and psychology, most not even touched on by science yet.
Even when citing the "placebo effect", if a change has been made for the better, I'm good with that regardless of how it happened! If I believe something is helping me with an issue, and the pain, physically or psychologically, dimenishes and I feel better, that means the "remedy" has in fact "worked".
The world surrounding pharmaceuticals has done an amazing job of brainwashing millions and millions and millions of people to believing that the only 'real' solution to a problem is to pop a pill. The problem with this is, once you stop taking that pill the symptoms return. Drugs manipulate functions in our bodies that do, in fact, offer relief. A pain killer will reduce the pain in your knee, but once the drug wears off the pain in your knee returns, so you have to take another painkiller. It's a vicious cycle, and a cycle which will keep the share holders in pharmaceutical companies rich - for the rest of their lives.
Energy healing is not new. It’s quite the conundrum, isn’t it? Our experience tells us that our reality is made up of physical material things, and that our world is an independently existing objective one. The revelation that the universe is not an assembly of physical parts, suggested by Newtonian physics, and instead comes from a holistic entanglement of immaterial energy waves stems from the work of Albert Einstein, Max Planck and Werner Heisenberg, among others.
The significance of this information is for us to wake up, and realize that we are all energy, radiating our own unique energy signature. Feelings, thoughts and emotions play a vital role, quantum physics helps us see the significance of how we all feel. If all of us are in a peaceful loving state inside, it will no doubt impact the external world around us, and influence how others feel as well.
Bach (rymes with 'match', pronounced this way by the British, the country of their origin) Flower remedies are a gentle and natural way in which to heal mental and emotional imbalances. They can be very effective for people, animals, birds, and even plants. There are no contraindications or side effects, and these remedies can be employed alongside conventional allopathic medicine and other complementary methods of healing.
The creator of these remedies, Dr. Edward Bach, studied medicine at the University College Hospital in London and had obtained a Diploma in Public Health at Cambridge. He believed that symptoms of an illness are the external expression of negative emotional states, and in 1928 began work on his own remedies made from plants.
At the the age of forty-three he gave up his lucrative Harley Street practice and left London to concentrate on finding a new system of healing involving plant remedies, and by 1932 he had discovered the first of his 12 remedies. In 1934 Dr. Bach moved to Mount Vernon in Oxfordshire and found the remaining 19 remedies in the lanes and fields around his home.

Bach Flower Remedies are a form of energy healing that have been around for almost 100 years and have proved to be a successful treatment time after time. It is not a be all, end all solution, but I've not only experienced changes in myself from using Bach Flower Remedies, I have also witnessed some profound changes in fearfulness and anxiety with my own dogs by using them as part of a treatment plan.
Many of us in the dog world are familiar with Rescue Remedy. I learned about it in 2008 while I was sticking my toes in to the world of showing dogs.
I had taken Booker to a show in Calgary and he was really nervous being in such a large building with so many people and other dogs. His breeder offered to give him some Rescue Remedy - and he calmed right down! I've been using Rescue Remedy with all my pets since that day, and am now working on a certificate course through the International School of Canine Psychology and Behaviour in England: Emotional Healing for Dogs.
Here's a photo of my Booker-T being shown at the German Shepherd Club of Canada show in 2008.
